About Pharmacy Journal

General Introduction

The hospital pharmacy journal has been published in English since 1995, publishing mainly scientific peer reviewed papers submitted by European hospital pharmacists, covering a range of clinical, scientific and practice topics.

From 2002 onwards, the hospital pharmacy journal evolved to the format with cover and feature stories, clinical updates, conference reports, country focus, technical and therapeutic developments and other editorial elements.

In January 2004, the journal was published in two editions – Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacy Science.

The Journal was published six times per year (bi-monthly) and mailed to European hospital pharmacists, subscribers and key opinion leaders. Readership and authorship from non-European countries are also encouraged. The Journal adopted a new layout in 2006 to enhance reader’s interest and attention.
