General Introduction

The Journal was first published in 1995 as a communication platform for those who are specialized in hospital pharmacy. Pharmacy Practice focuses on providing editorial content suitable to all levels of hospital and oncology pharmacy practitioners, with key contributions from first-rate authors in their therapeutic/specialized areas. By end of 2011, the journal title is no longer published. The last issue was published in 2011, Issue 6.

Manuscripts relating to cost-effective treatments, research in and development of generic and biosimilar medicines, targeting healthcare practitioners including physicians, hospital and oncology pharmacists; health authorities, regulatory agencies, etc.; are welcome and authors can submit their manuscripts to GaBI Journal – Generics and Biosimilars Initiative Journal.

Manuscripts relating to hospital and oncology pharmacy research and practices can be considered for publication in European Journal of Oncology Pharmacy (EJOP).

Scope and Profile

The scope of EJOP and Pharmacy Practice is broad and is of interest and relevance to hospital and oncology pharmacy. Editorial content published in these journals include all aspects of hospital and oncology pharmacy, covering scientific, clinical, therapeutic, economic and social disciplines. In addition, practice-oriented research papers, reviews and practice guidelines in the field of hospital and oncology pharmacy practice are published under the Scientific Review and Practice Research and Innovation sections after peer review. In all cases, the emphasis will be on quality and originality contributing to the knowledge and practice of hospital and oncology pharmacists and their colleagues.
