About PPME

General Introduction

Pharma Publishing and Media Europe (PPME) was established in 2002 and is involved in journal marketing activities of an association for European hospital pharmacists. By early 2005, it took over the publishership of the journal for European hospital pharmacists, which was the official journal of European hospital pharmacists association. Since then, PPME had been publishing the European Pharmacy Practice and European Pharmacy Science journal editions which were released six times per year for distribution to more than 15,000 European hospital pharmacists, covering hospital and oncology pharmacists, pharmacy managers, healthcare and government officials and other individuals active in the field of hospital pharmacy. By end of 2011, the publications of Pharmacy Practice Europe as well as Pharmacy Science Europe have been discontinued.

From January 2007, PPME started publishing the European Journal of Oncology Pharmacy, the official journal of the European Society of Oncology Pharmacy (ESOP), which is released four times per year for distribution to ESOP members and other oncology/hospital pharmacy practitioners.

From 2010, PPME started publishing the first Conference Proceedings for the European Congress of Oncology Pharmacy (ECOP). The next Conference Proceedings will be in 2014.

Since 2008, PPME publishes other conference reports and various special focus supplements providing educational information to European hospital and oncology pharmacists.
